Kathy, some of these things can be really difficult to get rid of so I think you're right to be cautious about adding the Goodle thing. Somehow, awhile bavck, the Yahoo tool bar installed on my computer and, therefore, the Yahoo search pre-empted my home page. Finally got rid of it but can't recall how. Marilyn
