I think that was the jist of my post but you do put it more eloquently.
Just don't run them both at the same time is all I ask.

David,
Don't you mean have two anti virus programs running/activated at the
same time? I have a couple of anti virus programs installed on my system as
well as a couple of anti spyware programs too.

>From my experience as long as you don’t have more than one anti virus
program running at the same time, you should be fine. For as you know, not
any one single program can catch them all.

It's not recommended to have more than one anti virus program on your system
at the same time. They will conflict with each other.

Subject: [jaws-users] AVG and Norten

hi all. I am just wondering. I have a few diffrent programs to scan for spy
were and mal where on the web one of them is calld hit man prow. I scaned
for spi where and mal where and it said that it found something like 36
infections. Now there was this free scanner that scanned my computerand it
was avaible to download as a limmided tryel. the scaner was part of the AVG
Program. What I am wondering is if I have Norten do i really need AVG?
Because i found that when i tryed to install AVG Be for it created a
conflict with Nortenafter it was installd. Many thanks for any advice you
could give me on this topic. aI also have Spaybot Serch and Distroy for
blind and vi users.
