Hi Anthony. Thank you for your suggestion: I tried alt and the letter n and nothing came up. I also tried control plus n but to no avail. I wonder if this sound is generated by a site which is interpretted as insecure. The popups will come up if I press shift plus enter: this is not a normal popup blocker sound though. Am interested in hearing your thoughts.
