Thanks Walt, I'll give it a go, the next time I'm on the web. I've been using the control + insert + home, since 3.7. smile Sometimes old dogs just like the same old tricks. To get to the first and following form fields on a web page, press the letter F (as in form field). CTRL+INSERT+HOME is no longer necessary--just another of those Windows-like thingies. <g> ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ricque" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] al.net> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, November 05, 2006 2:47 PM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] Very annoying sound effect. Actually, the list of managers goes back as far as 3.7. Couldn't check any further, since that is the earliest one I have installed. smile Jaws is like Windows, in that, there are multiple ways of doing some things. I prefer the managers list, since it doesn't require me to remember other keystrokes And speaking of remembering keystrokes, control + insert + home, will move you to the first input field on a web page, what's the stroke for moving to the next one? Or is there one? Lois - That was actually the _original_ way to open the Configuration Manager. The INSERT+F2 function was added relatively recently (in one of the 6.X releases, I think). Here are some other shortcuts to items that also appear in the INSERT+F2 list: INSERT+8 - Keyboard Manager INSERT+9 - Frame Viewer INSERT+0 - Script Manager INSERT+D - Dictionary Manager INSERT+G - Graphics Labeler Since I cut my teeth on JAWS 3.5, those were the keystrokes I learned and I still use them. I almost never use the INSERT+F2 menu. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lois Butterfield" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, November 05, 2006 1:09 PM Subject: Re: [jaws-users] Very annoying sound effect.
