Here's something to consider! At the time the message appeared on the list, there were no responses. So, several people responded , not knowing that other people had the same idea, and the next thing you know, there are multiple responses to the same message. With the way e-mail works, and not knowing where every e-mail originates from, it is impossible to prevent duplicate responses. Waiting for a set period of time to pass before responding to a message defeats the whole purpose of e-mail. This is going to happen, and we don't have any control over it. The only way to prevent multiple responses to any given message, is for the moderators to decide which response gets posted, and that is not going to happen! Nobody has to read every message, and everyone is free to use the delete key at there discretion. Multiple responses also allow for different methods of doing something to be learned by everyone. You don't need to be a mind reader, just read through all your messages before answering. I could have answered this question, but in the hour since I checked the folder, all six answers came in. I am guessing that several of the people who answered this question, answered it before reading through and finding out that three other people had already answered it. -- Blue skies.
