Using 7.1 it seems I must read emails in text format other wise not always but often enough when I open a message up JAWS just simply won't read it. I've contacted tech support on this and checked all of their suggestions of which were all correct on here. Now with other versions of JAWS I can read in HTML format no problem. HTML is kind of nice since the links are already active without hitting a hot key to change them over. It's also nice because in text mode at least for the first message in a list I also get the message use your reading keys to read the text.
