I've never had the problem until recently though, so I wasn't sure if there was something I could do. personal and MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo Messenger: tlsyslo Skype: tlsyslo AOL Instant Messenger: Drizzlecat!

Like you, when running Jaws I go to system tray and exit the software that came with the keyboard so as to not have a conflict with the keyboard commands or the Function keys. Although I do enjoy the CD controls while listening to music, it is a bit cumbersome switching it on/off while tasking between. Like you, I deal with it and have experienced the Mute mystery several times myself. This lister will probably become more use to JAWS and not have to "cheat" or rely on his multimedia keyboard as much. I know that you lose some of the advanced features but we don't seem to have that option in our world. It doesn't matter to me though except when I accidentally hit the mute key and can't figure out what happened. An example is when an IE window is open. I just minimize all windows adjust the volume, and then ALT+Tab to open the window I was working in. I recently started having a problem with using the keys at the top of the keyboard, mainly the volume keys when I am in an internet explorer window. Jaws just keeps saying no next heading or no next table when I am using the keys at the top of the keyboard. I found that when I turn the navigation quick keys off the keys work fine, but I have always used them before with navigation quick keys on with no problems. I have tried to re-install jaws and that didn't help. Is there some way to fix it so I can still be able to use the keys like to get to the next form and visited link but still be able to use the keys on my wireless keyboard? I'm not sure what else to try and it was working fine until just recently. personal and MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:tsyslo%40cox.net> Yahoo Messenger: tlsyslo Skype: tlsyslo AOL Instant Messenger: Drizzlecat!
