Hi Ken,

This is how I do it.  Press win+r, type msconfig then enter.  Control+tab 
till you get to startup tab.  Tab then arrow through the list and uncheck 
anything you don't want in startup, then tab to okay.  You will be prompted 
to restart your computer.  After it restarts, there will be a message saying 
that the computer is in diagnostic mode, etc.  You want to check the 
checkbox where it says don't show this message again, then tab to okay and 
space.  You're all set.
