I have never tested this problem with posting to a group, but I know a
forwarded message is missing Email addresses when posting to an
individual.
Right now, I can read Email addresses below Original Message after the From:
Walt Smith and also the To: taika @frontiernet.net below Original Message.
when I send this to an individual, he opens the message and there are no
Email addresses below Original Message and after the From and to. It is
totally blank. Those Email addresses are either hidden or disappear somehow.
this is what I need to fix. I hope I have explained the problem in more
detail and now you understand where the Email addresses are missing.
Thank you very much.

Are you talking about e-mail addresses in the body of your messages or what?
I really don't understand exactly what's going on. Are you talking about in
the To field at the top of the messages? If so, the actual address never
shows up there, only the person's name as it appears in your address book.
For instance, right now, if I read the To field on this message, I do not
see an actual address, only your name--this is normal. If this isn't what
you mean, then can you be a little clearer in explaining what's going on?

Walt, both of these settings are exactly as you say they should be. It's
just so frustrating. when I start a new message, everything is perfect. When
I forward a message, every Email address everywhere is missing and I assume
hidden. Is there something somewhere else that could be causing Email
addresses, only Email addresses to be hidden??? Earlier today something was
wrong because when I typed, after every character I would hear a number
starting with 1 and going higher. I rebooted and this problem disappeared. I
am sure that was caused by me hitting a key accidentally at the wrong time.
Now, if I can figure out how to make email addresses reappear, then my life
will be back to nearly normal once again. thank you for trying.

It sounds like the messages you are forwarding might have been composed in
HTML--it's a little hard to figure out from your description exactly what's
going on. However, try this:

1. From the Inbox, press ALT+T followed by the letter O to open Options.
2. Press CTRL+TAB once to move to the Read page.
3. Press TAB until you hear "Read All Messages in Plain Text." If this check
box is checked, uncheck it.
4. TAB to the OK button and press ENTER to save your settings.

Now, try forwarding a message that failed before and see if this fixes the
problem. Another item you do not want checked in that Options dialog is on
the Send page--if Reply to Messages in the Format in Which They Were Sent is
checked, definitely uncheck it.

I have a problem with hidden Email addresses in forwarded messages. when I
forward a message with an Email adders in it, the recipient receives
everything in the forward but the Email address.
I am using Outlook Express and JAWS 6.0 and XP Home.
Can anybody please tell me in detail where I need to go to correct this
setting??? I must have accidentally hit the wrong keystroke somewhere along
my travels today.
Thanking you in advance for helping as you always do!
