Hi Arianna, Yes, go ahead and try that! Let the list know what happens, I'm going to be off-list for a couple of days, so if that doesn't work, someone else may have an answer before I get back. Ricque, here's my situation at this point. I'm using WindowEyes which is working okay. This is one time I'm glad I have it installed. In JAWS I did the install of the video intercept as you said and it says that it has been installed. JAWS is not acting correctly since I can't address email nor can I reply to messages. Also, I still get the video intercept message when i boot up. Should I do the uninstall, reboot and then install again as you instructed? This thing drove me nuts this afternoon before we went to my daughter's for thanksgiving dinner. As I said, thank God for WindowEyes this time. Thanks once more for coming to my rescue. I have added you to my list of what i am grateful for! From the Jaws application window, go to the utilities menu, and select video intercept manager. 2. When this dialogue opens, the first field is a read only edit box, so tab once. 3. Here you have the choice of 3 options, which you can view with the arrow keys, so select, install video intercept, and then tab to the execute button, and spacebar that. 4. Now, if you tab back to the read only field, it should say whether it was successful or not, if it is, then tab to the close button, and spacebar it. If not, then go back to the options, and select uninstall video intercept, and then execute that. 5. Either way, you will need to re-boot the machine, so do that. 6. If you have Jaws set to run at startup, and Jaws doesn't come up talking then you will need to use Narrator to install the video intercept. 7. The video intercept error message will already be open, so just navigate thru it as described above, and then re-boot. When the machine restarts, Jaws should come up talking, and Narrator as well, but a simple alt F4 will close Narrator. I press the spacebar on exeute and nothing seems to change. I know there have been questions about this on the list, but since I have never had the problem I really didn't pay attention to the answers. Can someone give me some help with this? I will be grateful.
