Carla jo, I just Googled the phrase blind accessible digital recorder (no 
quotation marks) and got lots of hits, including some from the AFB, cool 
tech, and some list serves.  The AFB has an e a publication called "Access 
world" that you can sign up to be e mailed about every other month and there 
is an access world archives full of comparison/evaluation articles on every 
kind of gizmo or gadget you could think of.  People on the k1000 list 
occasionally mention Bookport and other such players because they use 
Bookshare.  I hope you'll get some specific info from our fellow jaws users 
since jaws comes into the picture when someone does any kind of downloading.
