If I'm not mistaken, the button on the keyboard is referred to in the control panel, power options , advanced tab as the "sleep" button. The item before that in the tab order is the PC's power button.
If in doubt, set the sleep button to ask you what to do when pressed and try it, you can always press escape to abort the process. I only ask because I've always thought that what you could change was the button that's located physically on the computer and I suspect that the two buttons (the one on the keyboard and the one on the computer, itself) could be electronically dissimilar. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harding, Wally" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <jaws-users@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Monday, November 27, 2006 3:29 AM Subject: RE: [jaws-users] Hibernate Mode You should be able to change the function of the key above your escape key, if you wish to. You do it inc control panel, power options. For example you can have the PC automatically shut down or the PC can be put into stand by mode when you press it, .
