Sorry for the delay, but I am quite busy at the moment. I've been looking at your schema and the problem doesn't seem to be with recursion. IMO the problem is that extended-nested-elements are not well supported. Try bringing recursion back (just add a MethodEntry element to MethodEntryType which is of type MethodEntryType) and remove from ParameterType and AttributeType string-extension and try setting another attribute named value for the content. This should work fine.

looking through your schema, I found that you are indeed using
xs:extension in a way, which makes the element an implicit nested
group. This is not yet supported, sorry.

Btw, I just noticed, that we could easily add support for your
particular schema in the following way: Suggest the following
definition:

   <xs:group>
      <xs:sequence>
         <xs:element name="a"/>
         <xs:element name="b"/>
      </xs:sequence>
      <xs:sequence>
         <xs:element name="c"/>
         <xs:element name="d"/>
      </xs:sequence>
   </xs:group>

This is basically what your xs:extension does. If we would change that
internally to

   <xs:sequence>
         <xs:element name="a"/>
         <xs:element name="b"/>
         <xs:element name="c"/>
         <xs:element name="d"/>
   </xs:sequence>

(simple optimization), then we could map such typical cases. This
could be easily done on the XS level.

Anyone volunteering? I'll hardly find the time these days.
