Did you run this command for the root user? If you did then jPML aborted earlier and left the message queues in an unknown state. Try jPML -k first, then other wise you will need to remove the IPC resources yourself using ipcrm - I suspect that you will need to look to jBASE support for help with that, or you could take jBASE out of the auto start system, reboot, then try your command from root, which should tell you why it is happening. > I've tried, also, changing to a different license number and hostname (3 > different ones, actually), all of which work on a second machine here in > my office. Well, the license will only work on the hostname it was generated for. Supposedly, jInstallKey will verify the license, but maybe it does not on your version of the system. I think that there is a knowledge base article on how to remove the old key from your system completely. These are paid-for keys are they and not just old development license for the free downloads? Those expire every few months or so.
