It looks like you are trying to login to a standard application login
user, which is running the T24 start up script/.profile. You need to
create a separate user, that is a member of all the groups required to
access the jBASE files in the application and which has a separate
.profile from the standard one. The new profile should just set up the
environment variables your installation needs and not try to start up
any other programs or scripts and certainly not replace the login shell
with jSHELL and so on.

So, when you login right now, it looks like all sorts of junk is running
and interfering with the operation, but perhaps the interspersing of the
local and remote output makes it look worse than it is and it is just
that your remote script is not correct.

Additionally, make sure that you do not have other copied of jlogdup
running on the server that were orphaned etc because of this incorrect
setup. As I said in the previous email, make sure that you can remotely
execute a simple ls command before trying your jlogdup script. Make sure
that you read the literature of course, there are some good articles on
the jBASE site.

Check to see what line 20 is doing, but this is what tends to make me
think that you are running an incorrect .profile. The jlogdup is being
executed somehow before any environment variables are set up. A profile
for a remote session should just set up environment variables, give out
no prompts and just fall off the end into the standard shell.

Here it looks like you have had crashes or have orphaned jlogdups -
clean up the server processes. But it could be a side effect of the
wrong login .profile anyway.

And here of course you are getting prompted to start Globus, which is
not at all what you need to be doing :-)
