Neil, How soon we forget. You sent this question to devsup in 2002. At the time we provided you with a way to get both the IP address AND the machine name. I see that other's have provided the GETENV() solution. Another way would be to execute 'ipconfig' and parse the output. Do you need to obtain the machine name?
