Hi, not quite right. DBR does a lot more actions than just a simple read and locate of a field. For ex. it can read a field value depending on the user's language, it checks also STANDARD.SELECTION record of the T24 application, etc. That's why it takes longer to execute.
And F.READ is also about 8 times slower than just a simple READ. Regards.
