Well, at runtime inserts are not addressed, though you never know when
you need them again - e.g. to install a patch or to recompile a local
routine. If you are concerned about big number of files, you can get
rid of "$" files which are object code after compilation. Be sure not
to delete those "$" files for which you don't have source code (like
ones in patches).
