Requirement: We do have a daily process to extract data from GLobus to an ODS [Oracle based] system.
We are serching options for increasing the performance from Globus side, Current Sinario: For some file Extraction happens for the total file rather than incremental. Reason for full upload[overrite exisisting record] is incremental selection take more time for the selection. but we are following the incremental logic for STMT,CATEG and SPEC along with File distribution. i.e. For above mentioned files are distributed for each month and we only overwrite current months's full file. cos we know previous moths's file will not be updated again. Similarly we need to use some logic for the incremental DATA for the below files 1. LD$HIS 2. DRAWINGS$HIS 3. LC$HIS so we are in a process to find a way to have Distribution logic to help performance of the ODS extraction process. Hope the requirement is clear for you.
