Hi everybody,
We've manage to setup TJLOG on the PRODSvr server and STANDBYSvr Server.
Jdup is run on the PRODSvr to socket (connect to STANDBYSvr), we Called it
JdupMaster .
Jdup is run on STANBYSvr to listen from socket to logset, we Called it
JdupSlave .
Another Jdup is run on STANBYSvr to replay from Logset to Database (on
STANBYSvr) , we Called it JdupDB .
The purpose is to have HOT STANBYSvr !
During testing we face 3 major problem:
1. If JdupMaster, is somehow disconnected, when we restart it will
fire all record from the beginning of the logset all over again, and got
replicated twice on the STANBYSvr (we can see from jlogstatus -a on both
machine).
How to safely handle this problem?
2. We notice that on the JdupDB, we got error writing file 22 on
STMT008 and CATEG002, which in our case is distributed to 10 file. So
instead of writing to STMT008 we were expecting STMT008.1 to
STMT008.10. And after 10000 error jdupDB is shutdown by itself.
Here is some the error during jdupDB:

How to avoid this error, do we have to handle Distributed files differently
somehow (can't see anything on Document).
3. If we do jbackup -W (online backup) on the PRODSvr, document said
that it will automaticly switch to the next logset. I was wondering what
would happened on the STANBYSvr, do we have to switch to next logset
manually or what (we are concern about the log size). During all this
process what would happened to jdupMaster/jdupSlave.
Sorry we have not manage to try this, as we don't have Jbackup online
license yet (Still acquiring one).
Any help on any point is highly appreciated...!
