Hi It is possible :) with jbase, just put the word document on jbase directory and OPENSEQ it, ... then you have to parse each sentence in order to make edit somewhere. If the word document is not hudge it is maybe better to store the whole content of the word doc in a buffer, and then rewrite the new- edited text.
I had tried with CSV files and it works, as well as with Excel.
