There are definite no benefits for repeatedly asking the posters about their jBase version and the platform it runs. They simply ignore thinking its waste of time. :)
MacroM, If you are using a unix type operating system such as RH it is possible that you have utility like "dos2unix" which does the work for you without you having to write a separate program.
