Isn't this blindingly obvious?
sh: xlc_r: not found. This means that it, err, cannot find the C compiler. Even if you don't know what xlc_r is, this message is surely obvious? SO, if you have not installed the C compiler, do so. If you have installed the C compiler, then you need to add its location in to your PATH. Perhaps you need some basic instruction on UNIX/AIX and jBASE etc before trying to install something like T24? However: jsh t24dev ~ -->ERRMSG 8 Unix error (8): - 'Exec format error' Tends to make me think that you have either installed the wrong version of T24/jBASE (32 bit? 64 bit? Did you enable the 64 bit kernel?), or there is something seriously wrong with your configuration. Did you install this according to the installation notes, or just wing it? Finally, there is not much more that can be said because you did not read the posting guidelines and include any real information about your operating system,. jBASE version, 32bit? 64 bit? Version of xlc installed? Patched up to date? And this subject line should really be T24: Please read the posting guidelines at: http://groups.google.com/group/jBASE/web/Posting%20Guidelines This is at the bottom of EVERY message on the list - please guys, take a minute to read through this.
