The easiest way it to let the system tell you what the file size should be, especially for a file that has grown for a while.
use: jrf -R [filename] Go read the manual at:http://www.jbase.com/r5/knowledgebase/manuals/ 3.0/30manpages/man/adv22_jrf.htm Please note the the -R option creates a report only, it does not resize the file. Secondly, you never want to resize a file when anyone could POSSIBLY be using it. You might well lose data. In fact, file resizing should only be done on a totally quiescent system HTH, Robert On Jul 20, 10:27 pm, Vorleak <[email protected]> wrote: > I have problem with badly size file and would like to know the way to > calculation new modulo ? > It will be high appreciated if I can get the answer from all of you. > Thanks in advance. > > T24 : R08.005 > jBase: 5.0.23 > AIX: 5.3 -- Please read the posting guidelines at: http://groups.google.com/group/jBASE/web/Posting%20Guidelines IMPORTANT: Type T24: at the start of the subject line for questions specific to Globus/T24 To post, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/jBASE?hl=en
