The message appear when the computer error appears on is communicating with another computer to see if there is a file transfer waiting to update a data base. This is just a snippit of the error message, basically it repeats the same 5 lines for each data file it is checking. There is still plenty of room on the hard drive. When I run top there are no demanding processing. I have checked many files and have not found any corrupt. If I delete the jbcmessages file will it recreate itself? Any input would be very helpful. jBASE: Fatal memory signal seen on process id 3193 jBASE: Because of this, there may be file corruption on file ./ CUSTOMERS jBASE: Fatal memory signal seen on process id 3193 jBASE: Because of this, there may be file corruption on file /usr/ local/mwclean/MD]D Warning: Unable to open error message file '/usr/jbc/jbcmessages' for message 'READNEXT_ERROR' Thanks, K -- Please read the posting guidelines at: http://groups.google.com/group/jBASE/web/Posting%20Guidelines IMPORTANT: Type T24: at the start of the subject line for questions specific to Globus/T24 To post, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/jBASE?hl=en
