Dan, I didn't see your response in time to use it. Can I assume that it's safe to clear the $JBCRELEASEDIR/tmp/jutil_ctrl file at anytime without creating havoc?
I resolved the issue as follows: The instructions for using COMO state the commend as ‘COMO ON SessionId’ I assumed SessionId was an actual session number ie my port no. It turns out SessionId is actually the name of the output file the data is written to in the &COMO& directory. I had to run COMO ON DATAFILE from ssh and the COMO OFF DATAFILE from ssh to finally exit (COMO )jsh RAW~ and get back to jsh RAW ~. It seems ugly but it worked. Thanks for your assistance.
