Many thanks . I tried the decataloging , but nothing would get rid of the error. I finally used windows explorer, and deleted the libraries, re-compiled, re-catalogued and all problems went away. My brain is slowly coming back to life after being away from programming for about 6 years. Amazing how much one can lose if don't use. Now that I have some of my jbase skills back, I will take a run at mv.net. Dave.
