I don't think "DB" concept applies to jBASE very much; rather - collection of data and dictionary files, indices, routines etc. I believe you need to take a look at :
http://www.jbase.com/new/knowledgebase/index.html though it's not a tutorial but gives you quite a good picture. Keep in mind that if you use T24 then the whole approach is quite different.
