Remember, you can use 32 bit applications on a 64 bit OS but not the other way around. You can go to the 64 bit version of your new OS.

Will this version of jbase run on Windows 7 pro, (32 bit without any difficulties). I can probably stay with xp, but perhaps I should move with the time. I have a couple of concerns. I currently have a lap-top with Windows 7 Home, but am pretty sure I need the Pro version. I don’t have another computer in the house that is new enough to run windows 7 pro, 64 bit, so would have to purchase something. I really don’t want to do this I do have a DELL tower, with 2 gb memory, that I could probably increase that, but I believe 3.5 gb is the max that a 32bit system can handle So, I guess I’m asking, Can I run my jbase 3.x on windows 7 pro, 32bit on a computer with 2gb physical memory or am I screwed and have to go buy something? Or, do I stay where I am. Since I have only one small client now ( a church) I don’t want to tackle updating to a newer version of jbase either.
