Hello every one, I am trying to create files using 'CREATE-FILE'. I am able to create the following two files with the same name: $HOME/dir1/devices and $HOME/dir2/devices.
But when I create the file $HOME/devices and try to create the file $HOME/dir1/devices, the 'CREATE-FILE' command reports error: 'file name already exists'. What is the reason for this behavior? Below is the output of jdiag: System Information ================== System : Linux devlinux5 3.10.0-327.el7.x86_64.#1 SMP Thu Nov 19 22:10:57 UTC 2015 x86_64 OS Release : CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core) UNIX User : root (uid 0, euid 0) Tty name : /dev/pts/0 Time : Tue May 17 15:05:20 2016 Environment =========== JBCPORTNO : Not Set JBCRELEASEDIR : '/opt/jbase/CurrentVersion' JBCGLOBALDIR : '/opt/jbase/CurrentVersion' WARNING: JBCDATADIR is not set, Default '/opt/jbase/CurrentVersion/jbase_data' WARNING: JBCDATADIR is subdirectory of JBCGLOBALDIR HOME : '/root' JEDIFILENAME_MD : Not Set JEDIFILENAME_SYSTEM : '/opt/jbase/SYSTEM]D' RELEASE Information : Major 5.5 , Minor 0 , Patch 0461 (Change 18189) Spooler dir (JBCSPOOLERDIR) : '/opt/jbase/jspooler' JBCEMULATE : Not Set Object path (Default) : '/opt/jbase/CurrentVersion/lib:/root/lib' jBASE Compiler Run-time : '/opt/jbase/CurrentVersion/config/system.properties' Program dir (Default) : '/root/bin' Subroutine dir (Default) : '/root/lib' Max open files : 1024 Thank you in advance. -- -- IMPORTANT: T24/Globus posts are no longer accepted on this forum.
