You can create a file containing 'definitions' for Default Dictionary items
eg :
CREATE-FILE DATA DEFDICT 1
ED DEFDICT *A2
001 D
002 2
003
004 Attr 2
005 3R
export / set JBCDEFDICTS=DEFDICT
LIST DICT file BY *A2 *A2
should display in your expected [ Right Justified ] Sort order
