Welcome to the group, hogi. The road map is unclear. We have a diverse (albeit a small) set of people here, and every has certain ideas about what JBT should be. For my purposes, JBT is nearly complete and ready for trading. This "base" JBT is what gets released on a regular basis, and the code base in in the /trunk. Other folks are working on a whole bunch of additions/ enhancements to this base version, and there is a separate source code branch for it.
Regarding the code submission, we do not have a formal review process. I tend to be possessive of my code, so the way to handle it is to post your code to the "Files" section (http://groups.google.com/group/ jbooktrader/files), and if I determine that it is a good fit for JBT, I will integrate your code to the source base. Your quad Xeon is perfect of running optimization jobs.
