My primary interest is to make a multi-instrument strategy, so right
now I am digging around in code trying to get a feel for the "flow"
before I start modifying. I have some observations I would like to
verify and get some comments on.

1) JBT ignores the portfolio. If JBT were to crash while a strategy
is active, it is the responsibility of the user to clear all positions
before restarting JBT. If the portfolio were to change due to
reasons outside of JBTs request, JBT would not react.
  - The reason I bring this up is I have concern about short sales.
Does IB ever cover shorts for you if, on the settling date, they do
not have shares available? Could my portfolio change overnight while I
am not looking?

2) JBT assumes all orders will execute, because it uses market orders
during the trading schedule.

My interests are in arbitrage type strategies, and hedging instruments
against each other, which may require me to re-engineer the systems to
account for partially filled limit orders.
