It is rather annoying that they haven't ported Java 6 to 32 bit Macs,
isn't it? I suppose nobody wants to pay for it and they would prefer
people wrote Cocoa apps instead.

I have been able to compile apps that require Java 6 on my 32 bit
Intel Mac with SoyLatte, a port of BSD Java 6 to Mac -
