I'm using the very latest version of JBT and TWS and it is working for me. Maybe I can help you troubleshoot, but you'll need to answer these questions.
Did you make any modifications to the code-base at all? Which version of TWS are you using? Is it the latest? Which security does your strategy use? Does your IB account have market data permission for that class of security? Are you testing during regular trading hours?
