I have understood that there are two ways for recording data either with TWS or with IBGateway. For recording only, IBGateway seems to have the advantage that it has no auto logouts.
I have the following question: when and at which time stamp does JBT start recording in "Forward Testing" Mode? I have started two strategies in Forward Testing Mode outside the trading hours at 06:00 AM New York time. Here JBT does not record data. In StrategyES.java the trading hours are defined between 10:20 and 15:25 NY time. Is recording taking place from the time the strategy is started or is there an own logic?
