I made some money running a variant of the Balancer Strategy for about
a month and a half.
But it wasn't fully automated. Added a "go flat now" button to the
popup menu to stop
trading and take profits/losses for the day. I made about 70% of my
total account balance in
about a month in a half period ( yes very leveraged). However I
stopped this strategy and began forward testing
because of some problems we had back then with the system and the
adoption of the 10 level book
which I wanted to study. During this forward test period, the Strategy
lost big and it spooked me.
In the end, I was probably lucky.
