I tried it out last year and it seemed to work well. No headaches like I have had with other java nn frameworks. If I was to use it with JBT, I would train a neural net (nn) on the book data outside of jbt and then create an indicator in JBT that uses the nn. You wouldn't be integrating the framework or any source code, so there would be no licensing issues. Take a look at the example they used with NinjaTrader. I would do something similar to that.
