Hi, one reason the activity in this group is quite low is the fact that the software platform Eugene has created is very mature now. So pure technical issues are decreasing.
of course we can discuss tpoics regarding strategies and some mathematical stuff, just go ahead. But I think we should use this group for it. We had very interesting tpoics in the past, so perhaps looking in the archives would be beneficial for some guys: * Kalman filters * strategy topics * mathematical topics * the JArbitager experiment So feel free to give some impulses. In the moment I am working on pattern recognition for balance data and price data. My thesis is that there are some patterns which indicate price movements. I am doing a lot of research regarding similarity matching, time series representation which is reducing noise like PAA and SAX and so on.
