Hi Everyone, I've been restarting JBT each day as Eugene explained about how JBT make the contract selection at startup which makes sense. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Marcus(?) implemented the code in Stragey.java to switch to the next contract after trading hours each day, if required. I just noticed a message in the event log so I presume the latest JBT is doing this okay?
"Switching Contract fromCL-201306to CL-201305" I'm just wondering if it's safe to leave JBT running indefintely if this code is in place, or are there other issues that require JBT to be restarted each morning. Any GC / memory issues to be worried about? Also, on a side, I'm just wondering why JBT switched to an earlier contract in the above event log. I suspect this is because the previous contract just happened to be more liquid for some reason? Thanks for any help.
