At least two France telecoms are listed as having Mail-to-SMS gateways
available:

SFR France [email protected]

I've just tried it, it works for me. After you set the port, click OK, and
restart JBT so that the new preferences take effect. If this does not work,
please let us know.

Yes, I would recommend restarting JBT a the start of every trading day.
Some people have reported to be able to run JBT for weeks and months
continuously, but the best guarantee of a smooth operation is to restart.
There are two things at play here:

1. The "front" futures contracts expire (ES on a quarterly basis, CL on a
monthly basis). There is no functionality in JBT to dynamically load the
new front contract when the old one expires. So, if you don't restart, JBT
would trade the front contract until expiration, and all the attempted
trades after the expiration would be rejected. When you restart JBT every
day, there is a guarantee that the front contract would be recorded and
traded.

2. The IB API still has a problem where after the midnight IB market data
server restart, the market data stops. That was reported by Klaus, and I
saw evidence of that as well. I had an attempt to address it
programmatically by using what was known as ResubscriberRunner, but it it
was not a perfect solution, so I removed it. Again, the best thing to do is
to restart JBT before the day trading session.
