OK, I must have done something differently, it ran but with this error:

Dec 02, 2014 5:04:18 PM java.util.prefs.WindowsPreferences <init>

WARNING: Could not open/create prefs root node Software\JavaSoft\Prefs at 
root 0x80000002. Windows RegCreateKeyEx(...) returned error code 5.

Created that registry key with Admin permissions, but still this error when 
run
Also, the application looks different than what is shown in the manual.  
The 4 strategies are not listed, and the 3 lights are not included, did I 
do something wrong?
