All,
I'm really really confused with regard to JNDI provider speed. It is
extremely slow, and I have isolated what it is: the client side of
things is fast, the server side of things is very fast, but what is
taking time is the actual RMI call (~100 ms on local machine, separate
JVM's. Should be ~*3* ms). And I have no way to determine what is taking
such a heck of a lot of time. And what's even wirder is that jBoss
calls, which are also plain RMI calls, *do* take about 3 ms/call. What
the heck is going on...
Does anyone have any clue where to start looking?
