Let me add that the IBM code that I saw furthermore looked not
nice from the modelling (meta-data are not XML-schema-compliant) and 
processing perspective (a complete DOM is build and traversed for 
deserialisation). 

Since I like ZOAP to be as closely integrated to java.io as possible,
I decided to do it on my own.

As soon as some usable Apache code  can be embraced, I�d be the first to
jump on it ...

IBM Soap open source is client side implementation.
Here is the a suggestion of Server side implementation that is connected to
a EJB server activating
the EJB itself.

There is no claim up to now that server side is EJB one, howvever natural it
sound. Morever SOAP
will activate DCOM entities in Microsoft implementation.
