This sort of follows along some of the discussion about JMX, but it's also a
bit new ...
I'd like to be able to monitor various container/cache related information.
At one point I hacked the EntityInstanceCache to be an MBean so I could
monitor it from the JMX Admin application - though it was really just to see
if it could be done. Is JMX the path to monitor these types of things - I
guess we might not want to make some new MBean which can view the innards of
the container/cache stuff rather than expose them at that level.
