As we said we are going to do some stress tests internally at Telkel to
trouble shoot stuff for the FINAL release.
I have assigned the dream team of Sebastien and Daniel to the task.
Here are the tests we plan on doing :
1- LOAD 10, 50, 100, 1000 (?) threads with *different* bean instances (load
on bean) and take times on one iteration. Find the point where the VM
BREAKS!. Do this test with RMI and inVM with Tomcat.
2- LEAKS run the testbeans in an infinite loop and track memory leaks... see
if it holds for long periods
3- LOCKS 10 threads on one object: loop many iterations and look for lock
we will put these tests (they are writing them as we speak) and we will test
them on what we have i.e: LINUX+Postgres.
The same tests would be appreciated on different platforms that you guys
have before FINAL
