AFAICT that is not enough. GPL virality would still be a problem.

Sure, but Peter's and Jon's arguments still hold. Those notices aren't
enough. They still don't adress that /lib/ext JAR's need to be GPL, and
it still won't make it possible create a J2EE server such as OpenJoda,
with jBoss in it.
