Agree. I had exactly this functionality in XS a couple of years ago, and it
is not very difficult to do. It's more a matter of time than figure out how
to do it.

Ahem. I'm not responsible for that ("XMLLoadable" came with the metadata
model), and will be removed when the new EJX stuff is in place.
