|constitutes an "application". A "J2EE Application" is fairly clearly
|defined in the J2EE spec, being a collection of "J2EE modules", i.e. ejb
|jars, client jars, wars and rars bundled into an ear (with deployment

No I said that J2EE doesn't say anything about the applications once they
are deployed.  There is no central "repository" that says this is a "post
deployment applications".

The kind of mutant "redeploy this but not that in my application" requires
such a central place
