Yes! I am working on it. I don't know about the next release of JBoss, 
because (a) I don't know when that will be and (b) I'm not going to 
commit to being finished by a particular date.

I am almost at the stage where reference implementation resource adapter 
can be used. I still have to nail security and transactions for it to 
work properly.
